If you are washing at home, be sure to dry it in the shade. Be aware that washing at home might have an effect on the colour and lustre. Avoid washing the saree in a washing machine. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as it can cause colours to fade.
Ironing: When ironing, use a low heat setting to uphold saree’s crispness.
Storing your saree: Store your saree in a cool, dry place. To protect the saree from moisture and insects, it is recommended to wrap it in a muslin cloth.
